Ok...I've finally decided on Blogger

So after switching around a lot and going back and forth I've finally decided that I like blogger and I'm going to stick with it. Mostly cuz it ends up looking like a real webpage that also has a blog. So what I'm gonna do is copy and paste my last and only post on Xanga here then write another one for today. It's really Jan 20th even though I'm gonna put the date back ;) Confused yet? Well here's the post I wrote a few days ago... If you want to see any previous posts check out my yahoo page: http://360.yahoo.com/etomhguaddim

I'm never quite sure how to start a blog. I guess I could refer you to my previous entries on my Yahoo blog. Or really it's probably not going to matter that much cuz I can't imagine who will read this :) The biggest new thing in the life of me and my roommates was Friday we had the first blues house party in Boston. That was a very exciting accomplishment for us and it went perfectly! There was like 50 people here.

Wow, I'm going to totally go off track. I just got a call from a friend. He opened with "So I'm bored and I'm thinking about getting a tattoo I'm going to regret for the rest of my life." He wants something along the lines of his friend who has "No Fat Chicks" tattooed on his butt in script that looks like a 3rd grader wrote it in pencil. How do you respond to that?!? My response was something like "Well...uh...why??????" then "I think if your bored you should just come over and we'll find a way to make you not bored that isn't permanent." Most people play basketball or write a poem when they are bored, but not him...he gets a tattoo with the purpose of regretting it for the next 80 years or however long he lives. Wow...he just might be one of funniest people I know. :)

Anyway back to our regularly scheduled program. The Blues Party...So for those of you who don't know what blues dancing is the best decription I've ever heard is from Tim - It's like 8th grade slow dancing with all the space and awkwardness taken out. It looks something like this:

It is a load of fun and really not that hard to pick up. You can spend a lifetime perfecting it, but the basics are not really that difficult. One of the funniest things that happened is that some couple decided to go behind Béckie and Megan's curtain to their room and turn off the lights. When Megan saw that this was going on she simply walked over and turned the lights back on. It was great! Absolutly hilarious. The light switch is outside their room so she didn't have to walk in or anything, just flip the switch and listen to him be upset.

The other great story from that night was some guy asked us how we fit 4 girls into 3 bedrooms. Of course two of us share bedrooms, and we told him as much. He looked aghast and said "Well what do you do when you bring a guy home."
The best response was Béckie, "Well there is the couch in the living room, and we can talk there...or there is a tv downstairs and couches and we can play video games or watch dvds or talk down there...*confused look*"
Guy: So the basement is the "recreation room" wink wink
Béckie: Well I suppose, but there are a couple of vents that make it so you can hear everything that goes on down there in the whole apartment.
Guy: Oh...*dissappointed look*, I guess not so much recreation huh? Don't worry I've already started spreading the word that you are good girls and you don't date.

Ok, so to this guy we are automatically put into the "don't date" catagory because we don't bring guys home to sleep with them. Just peachy.

Megan and I also got stemware on Friday afternoon, and that was really exciting. I got the little shot glasses with the round bottoms so they spin around and the little tiny wine glasses. The rest of it is Megan's.
