Chemistry was pretty boring yesterday, so I made up a story. You can start the story at the top left of the notes where you are introduced to Chester the Chemistry Bug. You can then follow Chester down the margin the when you hit a the corner to right. He has many interesting escapades, and will probably have many more since I have Chemistry again tommorow morning. Make sure you read all the arrows and such as you will not understand Chester's story otherwise. To be honest you may not understand it anyway, since he was born of chemistry boredom, and I've heard that is a very bad environment for a Chemistry Bug to be born into. Feel free to comment on the deeper meaning of Chester's story ;)I'm also working on the Sociology Mouse whose name I have forgotten. Stay tuned for exciting stories related to her!
On another note I've recently been learning how to lead Lindy Hop and Blues, which is actually a lot of fun. I now understand why guys like to dance too (I wasn't really sure before cuz they don't get to spin much and don't really ever get to dip and I think that is tragic). A friend of my'n though just learned exactly why girls like to be dipped:

Last strike of late night rambling:
For those of you who are inclined to pray (and for those of you who aren't go ahead and try it anyway. Worst thing that could happen is nothing), I have a pretty intense weekend coming up. I'm going on a retreat through my church and it is for dealing with past sin and hurts, particularly focused on relationships and stuff. I'm really looking forward to this, and I think the set-up is really helpful. I have a sponsor who's only role that weekend is to pray with me and mentor me. I think it's going to be really good, but would really appreciate prayer for it. I want to really take hold of God's freedom in a lot of areas that will come up. I know I can't do it on my own though, He's gonna have to help me :) Thanks ya'll!
So I believe Chester went to get new wings (out of vanity) and ended up with them on backwards as a symbol of our compromising and infatuation with the lusts of this world. The wings themselves weren't bad, only why he wanted them and how he used them. Until....God stepped in and put them to their proper use. Chester was then free to return home (which is a symbol of walking in the divine calling of God in his life).
ReplyDeleteSweet, I like that. Chester is super spiritual.
You don't want to know why I think guys and girls like dancing.
I'll be praying for your weekend. Remember, rest on what Christ HAS done. Not what He's doing, or what He'll do. Theirin lies the true freedom. Bless you Lyzzard.
