Irony

So interestingly enough after my last post...no I'm not getting married, but I do have a boyfriend! A really amazing guy from school, Geoff, asked me out on Monday, and I said "I would love to be your girlfriend" on Tuesday. I'm so excited, seriously I feel like a 15 year old again. Being a girl and all, I could probably write pages and pages with every little detail, but really not many people are going to want to read that...so I won't. Suffice to say he has been incredibly sweet in basically everything he's said. I don't want to embarass him too much, so I won't put up specifics (he purposely doesn't read my blog, but that's probably an even better reason to not put them here).

It all happened pretty quickly, cuz I hadn't really let myself think about liking him. While we were having lunch on Monday he told me he had been praying all last week and not getting any sleep and God had told him to ask me out, and then whatever my answer was he'd have to be ok with it. So since he is a man who follows God's advice, he did that. I didn't know what to say right away, and he was fine with that, so I prayed about it and talked to a couple of my friends that night. Finally felt total peace about it around 12:30 that night (after a lot of nervous cleaning and figiting), and I knew I wanted to say yes. So I told him that the next day, and the rest is history :) Or maybe more accurately history in the making.

So I'm not making any assumptions on God or anything. I'm not going around claiming that he's "the one" or anything. I don't know those things. I do know that Geoff is an amazing man, I can't believe he likes me so much, but I'm sure glad he does cuz I like him a ton too. So the next time your chatting with God if you would remind him to bless us that'd rock my world. I'm REALLY looking forward to seeing where God will take this.

Other awesome points:
  • He's going to teach me to ride a motorcycle!
  • He's planning to take me sailing :D
  • He makes me laugh ALOT
  • There are way too many things to put down here
