I'm so smart!!

So my biggest worry this semester was a couple of really hard classes that I had. Particularly Chemistry and Statistics. I just got all my grades back and got As in both!!!!!!!!!!! I was honestly worried I'd have to retake them...it wasn't looking good for a while there. God is so fantastic. I know that I couldn't have done that well on my own. I didn't have the faith to pray for As, I was just praying for passing, but he was like "Um no...I'm not just going to KIND OF bless you. I'm not like that, you're going to do way better than you think possible!" doot di doo la la la. So yeah I'm really excited! :) My other grades were good too: A- in English, B+ in Sociology, and A in Dance. That makes my GPA this semster like 3.8, and my cumulative is 3.78 or something :) Yay!!!

Now I have a week off until I start summer classes, but it will be good. I'll be busy this summer, but then next fall I'll only be at school 3 days a week. Rock on! I'll be able to do things like have a life and stuff...I might take voice lessons, but I'm not really sure yet.

In other news I was going through a bunch of my old mail and found 2 of my govt checks that I didn't know I had. One from like 3 months ago and another more recent one. That was really cool, cuz loans haven't come in yet and it's getting a little tight. But now I'm in the clear. God provides in some awesome ways :) Particularly through my not being organized :)

I'm going home tommorow to see my sister graduate (from high school). I'm pretty excited about that, and Geoff is coming too (a couple days after me). I'll be there for a week and he'll be there for 4 days. This is the first time he's going to meet my parents. I'm really sure that they will all get along fine (considering they are all great people, they have to like eachother right??), but if you could pray for that and all I would appreciate it.

That's all I got for now. Have an amazing blessed day!

  1. hey, i actually got the same grades as you, different classes: As in music, statistics, and Java Programming, an A- in IS and B+ in Sociobiology...haha. I thought that was a strange coincidence. I'm glad you'll get to see your family. Have an awesome summer. ttyl

  2. Good stuff Lyzz. I'm not that smart. I goofed off all my days in high school. But I'm in Bible College now and have secured a 92% average halfway through my first year. I guess you get better grades the more you're into a subject?! Sweet stuff.
