So the hardest part about starting to blog again after not blogging is coming up with something really worth posting about. I think I have this idea that my comeback has to be grand. Though honestly I don't know if anyone checks this so I'm not sure it matters.
Geoff proposed on June 28th on the BU Bridge, which is the best view of the Boston sky line anywhere :) It was awesome, and now we have 49 days left until the big day. I'm generally enjoying the process and really glad that we chose to have a short engagement. I'm enjoying it, but if I had to do all this stuff for a whole year I think I'd go crazy. Not only that, but honestly folks it's harder to stay pure once your engaged. I didn't believe people before, and you probably don't believe me now (unless you've been there), but it's harder!
So in other news Geoff and I are picking up Mr. Darcy from the vet today. He got his front leg amputated yesterday, and we've heard he's doing great. I'm looking forward to seeing him, but I am not really looking forward to the penicillin injection I have to give him every other day for the next month. I'm full of morbid curiosity for how that will go. So maybe I'll post some pictures once he's feeling better.
