Elizabeth Lake RN
I took my NCLEX July 1st and walked out feeling pretty good about them, but obviously couldn't be sure until the results were in. We have the ability to pay extra to get our results in 2 days instead of a month (ridiculous is a good word for this, I know, but I gave into the clear taking-advantage-of-my-emotions gouging). I passed! This is the last step to becoming a real RN. I'm so excited to be completely and fully done. There is still some paperwork I need to fill out to get my license transfered to Ohio, but no more testing. I'm done with school and I've passed the licensure exam, I'm official! I will be starting my job in a little less than two months and until then I'll be catching up with friends who have been super supportive during school. Many people have been awesome about my need to study endlessly and ignore them for large chunks of time. I cannot express my gratitude enough, or my sadness for moving right when I'll be more available. Luckily there will be a car and hopefully lots of road trips both ways. I'm totally ready to be a contributing member of society, bring on the paperwork!
