LIttle Si with Massimo

We summited Little Si in Washington a few days ago. That little fuzzball next to me is Massimo, and this is his first trip as himself, and he is having a blast. He especially loved this view about 2/3 up the mountain. Good thing he's not afraid of heights! The trees are much further down than they look in this picture and the result is quite dizzying.

In his first trip, to Italy, Megan took him as me since he was much easier to get into a suitcase. Through Massimo I was able to visit all the sites in Rome. He even got his ear pierced!

His second trip was as Megan and we went on a fantastic tour of England and France. We toured London on foot then took the Chunnel to Paris where we took in the local attractions. He spent the rest of the trip strapped to the handlebars of my bike (again it would have been difficult to strap Megan to the handlebars). He seemed to enjoy the wind whipping through his fur and the amazing countryside of the Loire Valley.

This is his first trip as Massimo since both Megan and I are here. He has done some great things - hiked this mountain, hiked to the bottom of the Snoqualmie Falls, and toured Seattle (of which there will be pictures soon). He was a little disapointed to miss the bike ride yesterday (he just loved it in France), but I think he understood since there was no rack to ride on this time. We'll be back on the plane tomorrow and headed back to Boston.
